The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
